Three weeks since I last logged out of SL. I was certain the program would cease to operate with me gone for so long. I mean, what *is* SL without Chloe? π
I was going to write a long post about an avie’s existence and compare/contrast the absence of a RL person and the absence of an SL avatar, but it bored me to even think about that π
Anyway, I miss you guys (especially that uber-cute neko). Hope to see you all again soon.

Hope the job hunt is progressing..and has any one tried to help you get Sleek up and running? If not and you want to try it let me know..I have gotten running for me, not a perfect solution, but it gets you back in SL.

It’s still there and I have actually been writing in it LOL But Wolf has changed his web hosting provider and is having a few problems getting it to pick up the blogfs correctly. If you take out the ‘www.’ from the address, it should work. Or, go to my Flickr profile, where I have changed the link π

DesertWolf: I’ve done all that I know how to do with SLeek, but I still can’t get it to work
I keep getting a message telling me that I need the current version of the SL viewer. If you have any suggestions, I’d like to hear them.

OK, lets see if I can help ya here…
First make sure you have the most recent versions of the SL Viewer and SLeek installed.
The SL viewer I am sure you know how to get.
The version of SLeek I am running is SLeek-20070601, you can find a download link on this page http://delta.slinked.net/2007/06/01/sleek-development-update-601/
the link for the download is in the middle section at the bottom of the post, it says…
“Source code is on SVN. And yesβ¦ we have binaries! Get it while itβs hot.”
Click on the word binaries..
Hopefully this will help you get going. π
Ah, I think I know what’s wrong. Since I haven’t been able to use SL, I haven’t been downloading the newest viewers. If I do that, I think it will work. Problem is, downloading the newest viewer will take forever with dial-up
