Spam comments

November 12, 2007

Anyone else been having a lot of spam comments on your blog posts?

Luckily, WordPress has caught all of the comments and prevented them from being posted, but I still have to look through them to make sure they’re spam, which is a nuisance.

Though if any of you are really interested in some internet porn and aren’t able to find it on your own, let me know, and I’ll be sure to hook you up with the offending posters 😉

  1. LOL Yeah, I regularly get anywhere between 2 and 6 a day on my blogs. I haven’t noticed an increase lately though. Mind you, my e-bay e-mail address is being flooded with spam right now 😦

  2. Wow, I haven’t received many until recently. I mean, I only had one spam comment here for a long time, but recently, I’m getting more (not a *lot*, but more). I guess I’ve been flying under the radar (yay for clichés!).

As for e-mail, I have addresses that I’ve all but abandoned because of spam. Who clicks on these messages, anyway? :/

  3. I have some spam also, no porn in my case, more “pharmaceutical” products for sexual problems, lol, anyway, i saw if someone comment one of your posts and include a link it goes to “SPAM” as a precaution.

  4. But if every comment with a link immediately goes to spam, how will I ever promote my “Nekos Gone Wild” DVDs on your site, Raul? 😉
