First attempt at sponsorship
December 16, 2007I sent out my first notecard tonight requesting sponsorship from a designer for Kyūketsuki. I’m *really* hoping the designer decides to help, but given that I contacted someone who already has a large, established business, I may not get a response.
I did find another designer tonight whose stuff is really good, so I may contact her. I’m going to wait a day or so to see if the first designer responds, though.

Well, I’m pretty sure the first designer isn’t going to respond. He probably discarded the notecard right after receiving it. Maybe it would be better to contact designers after I have a post or two on the blog so they know where it’s going.

*giggles* One of my best contacts took a week to respond to me…. ^_-
Well if you haven’t looked into them I’m going to recommend two shops I recently found: GothiCatz and Avid Gothic Designs. The first is actually a nice range of (often sexy) clothes. The second has the sweetest fancy ‘dark/gothic’ dresses I’ve seen in a long time… I had to buy the black velvet dress from Avid… and I spent even more in GothiCatz recently… >_>
Avid is a shop that I’ve considered and will likely contact soon. I almost bought a dress from her last night
I’ll have to check out GothiCatz.
Still no word from the designer I contacted . . .
